GateGuru iPhone App Launches in Time for Holiday Travel

New In-Airport Tool Revolutionizes The Traveling Experience

NEW YORK, NY/December 7, 2009 – Mobility Apps, LLC today announced the availability of GateGuru, the newest iPhone application designed to guide travelers within the top 85 U.S. airports and give them access to the latest information on in-airport food, shops, and services. For the first time ever, travelers will have a tool to inform them of their surroundings and provide tips, photos, ratings and reviews about in-airport amenities to enhance the overall travel experience.

Before GateGuru, no technology, central source of information or active and engaging online community existed to help travelers locate and rate in-airport businesses and amenities. GateGuru bridges this gap, and just like its name, serves as a leading light for travelers to quickly and easily know their options and find the best food, shop or service.

“In the age of robust mobile technology and instant access to information, the airport market has lagged behind,” said Dan Gellert, CEO of Mobility Apps LLC. “People spend approximately $6 billion and one billion hours within U.S. airports, yet there has never been a technology or reliable resource to help travelers. GateGuru was designed to address this unmet need. No longer will travelers be at the mercy of their surroundings.”

Gaining additional insight into the in-airport marketplace and making smarter purchasing decisions offers a new opportunity for both businesses and consumers. In addition to its use as a guide, GateGuru contains a well-informed and active community, generated by user tips, photos, ratings, reviews and recommendations. Through fellow traveler’s feedback, GateGuru will have its finger on the pulse of the in-airport consumer market.

GateGuru is the new travel companion in the era of Web 2.0 and instant access. For additional information and background on GateGuru, as well as a demo of the application, please visit the website at: www.gateguruapp.com.
